EWP RENTALS
OBECO Mini Manta
This is the latest and hottest edition to the EWP fleet of rodeo boats. Designed for women and kids, this boat is ideal for learning the new moves both in the river and on flat water. Being the only non-plastic boat in the fleet, it is easily the lightest. It’s slicey ends and low volume allow for even light people to toss it around! These characteristics however make it tricky on the river for beginners but ideal for intermediate/advanced paddlers.

Technical
Paddler Weight Range: 80 – 140 lbs (36 – 64 kg)

Dagger RPM
Even with all the latest extreme trends for boats to be shorter and slicier, the RPM still remains the best selling boat ever. It is probably the best and most used beginner boat, while also being an incredible river running boat for big water and higher level paddlers. It is very comfortable, even for the larger paddler. Great for surfing and stern pivots.

Dagger RPM MAX
This is simply a large version of the RPM. Has all the same qualities while adding comfort for the larger paddler.

Paddler Weight Range: 180 – 265 lbs (82 – 120 kg)

Dagger Kingpin 6.2
This is competition style boat for the mid-size paddler. It is short and slicey, though keeping enough corkiness to throw huge air. It’s great for cartwheeling, looping, blunting, you name it. Definitely for the advanced paddler only as it may do things that beginner/intermediate paddlers may not want to be doing! Quite comfortable, in comparison to most small rodeo boats!

Technical
Length: 6’3” (191 cm) | Width: 24.75” (63 cm)
Weight: 32 lbs (14.5 kg) | Volume: 50 gal (189 L)

Paddler Weight Range: 100 – 180 lbs (45 – 81 kg)

Wavesport Siren
The Siren is one of the best boats the club has for the smaller paddler. It is fairly stable for a beginner and has tremendous capabilities for the advanced kayaker. It has low volume a very slicey ends for even great flat water practice. It surfs very well, and flat spins can be easily achieved. Not very good for bigger river due to low volume, but has good hull speed so can be used by better paddlers if they feel comfortable. Overall, a great boat for teenagers and women.

Wavesport Ace 4.7
The club has several Ace 4.7’s though no 5.1’s. The Ace is a great all round boat for the intermediate to advanced paddler, especially for someone who wants to begin to explore the world of freestyle. Being the bigger brother to the Siren, it has the slicey ends and good hull speed. Can be used for bigger water if skill is there, though better for playing. Great flat water boat for learning rodeo moves including how to cartwheel and bow stall. Awesome boat for all round fun on the river.

Wavesport EZ
The EZ is one of the most popular freestyle boats. It is comfortable for wide range of sizes of people though may need some foam blocks to add in for foot rests. It has slicey ends for cartwheeling both in the river and flatwater. Good for bow stalling and pivots and spins like a dream. Flat hull makes it quite stable for the adventurous beginner, otherwise great for the intermediate/advanced paddler. Comparable to the WS Ace.

Wavesport BIG EZ
The BIG EZ is the big brother of the EZ, made for bigger paddlers. If you wish you could fit an EZ but can’t (need more leg room) this is the boat for you! It is comfortable for taller and heavier people though may need some foam blocks to add in for foot rests. It has pretty slicey ends for cartwheeling both in the river and flatwater. The extra volume makes bow stalling doable just a little harder, but it pivots and spins like a dream. Flat hull makes it quite stable for the adventurous beginner, otherwise great for the intermediate/advanced paddler.

Wavesport EVO
The Evo is wavesport’s boat for the smaller person. It would the little sister to the EZ. Having must of the same design, but must less volume, it allows the lighter person to pull the same moves. Cartwheeling, spinning and pivots can all be performed in this wicked little boat if you can fit in it!! Great for kids and women.

Perception Torrent
The Torrent is a new addition to the clubs whitewater fleet. It has rapidly become known as “the barge” but is exactly what some people need! It’s wide hull provides tremendous stability and being a sit-on-top it avoids that confined feeling that some people have in a kayak. The thigh straps allow for good boat control and it is self draining too! It is good for all sorts of river types (not really made for playing but can be surfed) and even has a storage compartment to hold your lunch!
