In addition you should be comfortable with a capsize to exit or receive a T – rescue.
Throwing and catching a water polo ball also are important accessory skills.

With the snow on the weekend the spring is looking more promising for running rivers. Marty the polar bear is ready (see photos) are you? Marty tried kayaking once and flipped. But the worse part was he got his butt stuck in the kayak and could not get out, so had to walk on the bottom of the ocean on his hands until he reached shore. But Marty is a brave bear and can not wait until spring to hit the rivers, and try out this new sport he heard about canoe polo. He hears that Canada will be sending teams to Europe to compete. He wants to know if he can join up..... He is ready to start practicing right now. Marty wishes you all the best on this the first day of spring.
